Copper Zinc Alkaline Filter

An Alkaline Copper-Zinc (ACZ) Filter is a multi-stage cartridge designed to enhance water quality after the primary purification process (like RO or UF). While the RO membrane removes contaminants, this filter focuses on "polishing" the water by adding minerals, balancing pH, and providing antibacterial properties.

1. Copper (Cu+)

• Antibacterial Properties: Copper has natural "oligodynamic" properties, meaning it can neutralize bacteria and fungi on contact.

• Health Benefits: It aids in metabolism, bone strength, and digestion. In traditional practices, storing water in copper vessels is used to "energize" the water.

2. Zinc (Zn+)

• Immune Support: Zinc is a vital trace mineral that supports the immune system and cell growth.

• Taste Enhancement: It helps in removing odors and improves the overall crispness of the water.

3. Alkaline Media (Bio-Ceramic Balls)

• pH Balancing: RO water is often slightly acidic (pH 5.5–6.5). The alkaline media raises the pH to a healthier range of 7.5 to 8.5.

• ORP Reduction: It lowers the Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP), giving the water antioxidant properties that help neutralize free radicals in the body.
