SAMSUNG 120 WALT VOOC SUPPORT FAST CHARGING TYPE-C

The 120W SUPERVOOC (also known as Flash Charge or SuperDart) is a high-performance charging technology primarily developed for the BBK ecosystem (Samsung).It is designed to charge high-capacity smartphone batteries to significant levels in under 30 minutes.

Key Features & Technical Specifications 

Peak Output: Up to 120W (11V - 11A or 20V - 6V depending on the specific model).

Charging Speed: Can typically charge a 5,000 {mAh} battery from 0% to 100% in roughly 25–30 minutes.

GaN Technology: Most modern 120W adapters use Gallium Nitride (GaN), which allows the charger to be smaller, lighter, and more heat-efficient than traditional silicon chargers.  

Multi-Protocol Support: Many 120W VOOC adapters are "backward compatible," meaning they can also output at lower wattages (80W, , 65W, 33W) and often support universal standards like USB-PD (Power Delivery) and PPS.

Performance & Safety

Intelligent Charging: To protect battery health, the charger does not push 120W the entire time. It uses a charging curve—hitting peak speeds when the battery is low (e.g., 0–20%) and slowing down as it reaches 80% to prevent overheating.  

Safety Layers: Includes over-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection. It often requires a specialized Type-C to Type-C (or High-Current USB-A to C) cable with an E-marker chip to verify safety before triggering the full 120W speed.

To achieve the full 120W speed, you must use the original brand-specific cable and a device that supports that exact protocol. Using a standard cable will usually cap the speed at 10W–18W.
